Norwood Advances UK Expansion with Paid AI Voice Platform Pilot
Norwood Systems Limited (ASX: NOR) has secured a paid pilot agreement with a leading telecommunications provider in the United Kingdom to trial its OpenSpan AI Services Orchestration Platform and selected CogVoice AI voice solutions. The pilot is scheduled to begin in late June 2026 and continue until mid-September 2026. Through the project, Norwood will demonstrate a range of AI-powered voice capabilities, including intelligent call handling, caller identification, automated routing, appointment management, workflow support, reporting functions, and operational analysis.
The agreement carries total fees of £150,000, payable in stages as project milestones are achieved. The deployment will be hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure within the telecommunications provider’s UK environment, allowing Norwood to validate the platform in a real-world network setting. Management believes the pilot represents an important opportunity to showcase OpenSpan’s ability to integrate AI services with telecommunications networks. While the arrangement does not guarantee a future commercial rollout, it provides a significant step toward potential large-scale adoption of Norwood’s AI-enabled voice technology in the UK market.
