Estrella Resources Limited (ASX: ESR) announced that it received AU$1.015 million as a refundable tax offset for eligible research and development (R&D) expenditure at the company’s Carr Boyd Nickel Project during FY2021-22. The R&D activities were mainly dedicated on testing hypotheses related to the formation and emplacement processes responsible for the Carr Boyd Igneous Complex.
The activities resulted in forming an enhanced genesis model that advances the identification of mineralisation. The company is involved in the use of experts from the CSIRO in a co-funded partnership as a part of the MRIWA project.
