Clean TeQ Water Limited (ASX:CNQ) announced that it has entered into an agreement with local civil partner A. Gabrielli Construction for the supply of a 15 megalitres a day Recycled Water Treatment Facility at Cleveland Bay Purification Plant as a part of a head agreement for water treatment and distribution for Townsville City Council. The company received an earlier order in July 2022 for the design and sourcing while contract discussions were continuing. Both companies have recently finalised the 80% design milestone.
This agreement has an unchanged delivery date of the project in Q3 CY2023. Under the contract, AGC is accountable for the combined design and building of the Recycled WTF at Cleveland Bay Purification Plant, comprising all civil and infrastructure works. Clean TeQ Water will be responsible for designing and constructing the specified water treatment process and equipment to produce the Class A water for industrial process reuse and irrigation.
