Boss Energy Limited secures key approval for restart at Honeymoon Uranium Project

Boss Energy Limited (ASX: BOE) announced that it had received approval for its updated Program for Environment Protection and Rehabilitation at its Honeymoon Uranium Project in South Australia. The company has received approval from the South Australian Department for Energy and Mining.

The company has been working closely with State Regulators for the previous 12 months to update the Honeymoon PEPR after the release of the Improved Feasibility Study. The main improvements considered into regulatory approvals under the Mining Act 1971 comprise a Maximum permissible production volume of 3,300,000 pounds U308 p.a., extended mining footprint in addition to the 11-year mine life, upgradation of the Processing plant, and replacing solvent extraction with ion exchange processing.
