ASX confirms delay of CHESS replacement

On 11 May 2022, ASX Limited (ASX: ASX) provided CHESS replacement project update to CHESS users, software providers as well as other stakeholders.

ASX has confirmed that April 2023 for go-live is no longer feasible. This decision will postpone delivery of application software, which no longer gives ASX and CHESS users the time assigned to finish their testing as well as other readiness activities before April 2023.

Further, ASX confirmed that new go-live date will be set post conversation with its technology partner and input from stakeholders on the timing of project milestones. It includes industry testing, operational readiness, market dress rehearsals along with implementation.
