Argent Reports Strong Silver Extension at Kempfield
Argent Minerals Limited (ASX: ARD) has announced encouraging drilling results from the Kempfield Polymetallic Project in New South Wales, reinforcing the project’s exploration upside. Recent drilling at the Lode 100 area identified a wide zone of shallow silver-rich mineralisation located beyond the current resource limits. Drillhole AKDD214 returned a significant mineralised interval starting close to surface, including several higher-grade sections within the broader intercept.
The company stated that the latest findings confirm the continuation of mineralisation outside the existing resource boundary, with the system remaining open both along strike and at depth. These outcomes are expected to support future resource expansion opportunities and improve the long-term development outlook for the project. Kempfield already hosts a large silver-equivalent resource, and ongoing drilling activities are aimed at increasing the overall scale of the deposit while identifying additional near-surface mineralised zones that could enhance future mining potential.
