Alicanto Executes Transformational Acquisition of Mt Henry Gold Project in Western Australia
Alicanto Minerals Limited (ASX: AQI) has entered a binding agreement to acquire one hundred percent of the Mt Henry Gold Project in Western Australia, delivering immediate scale through an existing resource of approximately nine hundred thousand ounces of gold. The project sits within a sixteen kilometre mineralised corridor in the prolific Southern Kalgoorlie Terrane, with mineralisation remaining open along strike and at depth. Alicanto will pay Australian dollars fifteen million in upfront cash, issue shares equivalent to a nineteen point nine percent interest, and provide performance-based consideration linked to exploration and development milestones. The acquisition is supported by a concurrent Australian dollars twenty eight million placement, leaving the company well funded to commence an aggressive fifty thousand metre multi-rig drilling program. With shallow, wide mineralisation, strong infrastructure access and Westgold emerging as a cornerstone shareholder, Mt Henry positions Alicanto for rapid resource growth and district-scale upside.
