WAM Strategic Value Delivers Strong Portfolio Performance and Lifts Interim Dividend
WAM Strategic Value Limited (ASX: WAR) delivered a strong performance over the six months to 31 December 2025, supported by favourable portfolio positioning and disciplined capital allocation. The investment portfolio recorded a 9.8% gain over the period, comfortably outperforming the broader market, and calendar-year performance also exceeded benchmark returns. Strong portfolio outcomes translated into a material uplift in earnings, with operating profit increasing significantly compared with the prior corresponding period. Reflecting this performance, the Board declared a higher fully franked interim dividend of 3.25 cents per share, providing an attractive income yield for shareholders. Portfolio returns during the half were supported by exposure to selected listed investment companies with global equity exposure, while the portfolio maintained a balanced allocation between equities and cash heading into 2026.
