Element 25 Advances Butcherbird Expansion with Key Contract Shortlisting
Element 25 Limited (ASX: E25) has made significant progress on its Butcherbird Expansion Project (BBX) in Western Australia, moving closer to its goal of increasing manganese concentrate production to 1.1 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa). The company has engaged leading consultancy SLR to assist in technical and funding due diligence, ensuring the project's financial and regulatory requirements are met. Offtake discussions are progressing well, with commercial terms expected to be finalised by Q1 CY2026. Additionally, the company has shortlisted contractors for the BBX Construction Contract, which is expected to be awarded in April 2026, with mining services contracts anticipated in Q1 CY2026. Key equipment, including the logwasher, has been manufactured and is set to ship in late February 2026, in line with project timelines. Element 25 remains on track to complete mechanical commissioning by Q1 CY2027.
