Torpys Delivers Record High-Grade Silver-Lead Intersection
Black Mountain Resources Limited (ASX: BMR) released a price-sensitive exploration update reporting its strongest drill result to date from the Torpy’s prospect. Assays from hole BTPRC005 confirmed exceptionally high-grade silver and lead mineralisation, validating earlier visual estimates. The hole intersected a broad mineralised zone, including very high-grade intervals with strong associated zinc and indium values.
The results highlight high-grade mineralised shoots, with zinc forming a potential halo that may indicate nearby additional shoots. Importantly, mineralisation at Torpy’s remains open, and further results are expected from the nearby Little Torpy’s prospect, where the inaugural hole returned a broad zone of sulphide mineralisation. A diamond drill hole has also been completed at Torpy’s, with logging and sampling scheduled to be finalised in January.
The announcement is price sensitive due to the exceptional grades reported, which materially enhance the prospectivity of the Torpy’s area and strengthen confidence in the scale and quality of mineralisation within the project.
