AUB Group Completes Share Purchase Plan to Support UK Expansion
AUB Group Limited (ASX: AUB), an ASX200-listed insurance broking and underwriting agency network, has successfully finalised its Share Purchase Plan (SPP), raising approximately AU$10.6 million. The offer was extended to 6,145 eligible shareholders, with 768 participating. Approximately 0.45 million fully paid ordinary shares are set to be allotted at an issue price of AU$23.62 each, representing a 2% reduction to the five-day volume weighted average price leading up to the offer’s close. These shares will carry identical rights to the company’s existing equity and are scheduled to begin trading on 6 March 2026.
The SPP complements AUB’s earlier AU$400 million institutional placement and supports strategic initiatives, including the Prestige acquisition aimed at accelerating its UK retail strategy. AUB operates across approximately 579 locations, serving around 1.2 million clients and placing more than AU$11 billion in insurance premiums, reinforcing its scale and diversified insurance distribution platform.
