TIP Group acquires Burman Invest

Teaminvest Private Group Limited (ASX: TIP) announced that it has acquired Burman Invest, the retail fund manager founded by Julia Lee. Julia Lee is a well-known market commentator, who appears on Bloomberg, CNBC, ABC, Sky, and Sunrise. Julia Lee is also on the board of directors of the Australian Stockbrokers Foundation and will be moving from her role as Chief Investment Officer at Burman Invest to work in a global role.

The acquisition of Burman Invest will help TIP Group to add further capability to its funds management division, consistent with the strategy of further developing investment banking operations. After the acquisition, Funds managed by the Company now include:

• Teaminvest Diversified Growth Fund, a wholesale diversified fund of funds
• Coliving Future Property Fund, a wholesale property fund
• Burman Invest, a retail listed equities fund
