Strong Early Validation at Samphire Uranium Project
Alligator Energy Ltd (ASX: AGE) reported encouraging progress from the Field Recovery Trial (FRT) at its Samphire Uranium Project, with operational performance aligning closely with initial expectations. The wellfield has processed approximately 39 pore volumes out of the planned 70, demonstrating stable flow rates and consistent permeability. Uranium concentrations exceeded 200 mg/L U₃O₈ at peak and remain above 100 mg/L, indicating effective extraction. Recovery levels have surpassed 55% so far, reflecting efficient leaching performance and ongoing mobilisation of uranium within the orebody. Reagent consumption remains within modeled assumptions, supporting cost efficiency and operational reliability.
These results validate key parameters outlined in the earlier scoping study, including recovery rates and wellfield design assumptions. Management expressed confidence in the project’s progression, with final results expected soon.
