Spenda Secures AU$1.85 Million to Advance Turnaround and Growth Strategy
Spenda Limited (ASX: SPX) has completed the institutional component of its entitlement offer, raising approximately AU$1.85 million. As part of a wider AU$8.55 million capital management strategy, the funds will help support operational improvements and long-term growth ambitions. The institutional shortfall bookbuild attracted strong participation from new institutional investors and family offices, demonstrating confidence in Spenda’s business strategy.
The company intends to use the proceeds to reduce debt, lower operating liabilities, support restructuring initiatives, enhance product development, and strengthen working capital. The capital raise is a key element of Spenda’s turnaround program, which focuses on improving operational efficiency while creating a platform for future expansion opportunities. In addition to the completed institutional offer, Spenda plans to raise a further AU$6.70 million through a retail entitlement offer. The initiative is expected to provide greater financial flexibility and support the company’s ongoing transformation efforts.
