Matsa Updates AU$17.5 million Financing Deal and Launches Third Gold Processing Campaign
Matsa Resources Limited (ASX: MAT) has announced further progress on its AU$17.5 million debt financing agreement with major shareholder Deutsche Balaton Aktiengesellschaft. The company stated that several security-related requirements are being completed, including mortgages over selected mining tenements and security agreements covering subsidiary assets. A second mortgage over the Fortitude North tenement has already been lodged for Tranche 2, while work continues on the Red October Gold Project requirements linked to Tranche 3. Matsa also confirmed that the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) waiver granted in February 2026 will remain unchanged.
In addition, the company confirmed that the third gold ore processing campaign at the Devon Gold Mine has officially begun on schedule. Ore has already been stockpiled at FMR’s Greenfield processing plant for a 13-day processing period. Mining operations are performing at ore grades equal to or better than the previous campaign. The fourth processing campaign is currently expected to begin in late July 2026.
