Link Administration Holdings Limited (ASX: LNK) has provided an update related to the proposed acquisition of Link Group by Dye & Durham Corporation via scheme of arrangement.
Om 27 June 2022, Dye & Durham lessened the bid for LNK from AU$5.50 to AU$4.30. It stated that it considered providing an undertaking to the ACCC to get approval as per the Scheme Implementation deed (SID).
The Company’s Board doesn’t believe it can recommend an AU$4.30 per share for control of Link Group. At the same time, LNK would continue to engage with Dye & Durham related to whether an agreed position can be touched on the matters raised in Dye & Durham’s letter.
If an undertaking is proposed by Dye & Durham to the ACCC, which Link Administration considers will satisfy the ACCC’s concerns, LNK Board would be willing to consider an adjustment to the agreed scheme consideration, with consequential revisions to the SID.
