L1 Group Reports Strong FUM Growth and Performance Fee Outlook
L1 Group Limited (ASX: L1G) delivered a strong June 2026 quarter, with funds under management (FUM) increasing 12.4% to AU$19.1 billion despite investor distributions. The improvement was supported by a recovery in investment performance following heightened market volatility earlier in the year. The successful listing of the L1 Gold Fund generated AU$428 million in net inflows, while the Long Short and Affiliates strategies also attracted fresh capital. Although Platinum-related strategies continued to record net outflows, the overall increase in FUM highlighted the resilience of the group’s diversified investment platform.
For the six months ended 30 June 2026, realised performance fees are expected to reach approximately AU$122–127 million, including a previously announced one-off fee linked to the closure of the L1 Wholesale Gold Fund. Total FY26 performance fees are forecast at AU$162–167 million. The company also expects AU$33–36 million in one-off after-tax expenses during the second half of FY26, primarily associated with the Platinum integration and the L1 Gold Fund IPO. Additional financial details will be released with the FY26 results on 17 August 2026.
