Klevo Expands Crypto Payments Ambitions Through Proposed Credit Licence Acquisition
Klevo Rewards Limited (ASX: KLV) has signed a Heads of Agreement to acquire Just Ask Solar Pty Ltd, holder of Australian Credit Licence No. 483627, in a strategic move aimed at strengthening its payments and rewards ecosystem. The proposed acquisition aligns with Klevo’s broader objective of enhancing the Fly Wallet platform with credit-enabled functionality and crypto-linked payment solutions. The company said Fly Wallet processed around $344 million in gross dollar value during the reporting period, reflecting strong year-on-year growth. Klevo also identified a large volume of declined transactions caused mainly by insufficient funds, representing a missed spending opportunity across the platform. Management believes integrating regulated credit capabilities could improve transaction completion rates, customer engagement, and loyalty participation. Klevo is additionally working with Mastercard to secure a consumer credit BIN that could support future credit offerings for eligible users. Any rollout remains subject to regulatory approvals, compliance requirements, Mastercard consent, and internal risk controls.
