Incitec reported solid increase in 1H FY2022 NPAT numbers

Incitec Pivot Limited (ASX: IPL) announced its half-year 2022 performance

  • IPL reported a Net Profit After Tax of A$384 million for the half year 2022, up A$348 million from A$36 million on prior corresponding period.
  • It reported earnings before interest and tax of A$568 million, up A$458 million from A$110 million on pcp.
  • The company’s total recordable injury frequency rate was 0.89, compared to 0.87 on 30 September 2021.
  • Incitec has a strengthened balance sheet with net debt of A$1.4 billion and a net debt/ EBITDA ratio of 1.0x, down from 2.1x on PCP.
