Green & Gold Limited (ASX: GG1) has announced the acquisition of the Burlington tenement package in North Queensland, securing approximately 88 square kilometres of highly prospective ground within the Herberton Mineral Field. The acquisition strengthens the Company’s exposure to silver, copper, tin, gold and indium, a metal suite considered increasingly important for electrification and advanced technology supply chains. The tenure hosts multiple historic mining areas and shallow drill results across several prospects, highlighting broad polymetallic potential and supporting Green & Gold’s strategy of upgrading historic workings into larger-tonnage resource opportunities. The transaction is an all-scrip acquisition valued at AU$450,000, priced at 20 cents per GG1 share, and complements the Company’s existing Chillagoe Gold Project, located nearby, materially expanding its regional exploration pipeline and discovery potential.
