OzAurum Resources Launches Grade Control Drilling Program at Mulgabbie North
OzAurum Resources Limited (ASX: OZM) has commenced a large-scale grade control drilling program at the Mulgabbie North Gold Project, located in Western Australia. The 18,000-metre reverse circulation (RC) program is targeting the Paleochannel Prospect within the Stage 2 pit design, a crucial step for optimising open pit mine design and supporting the ongoing Heap Leach Feasibility Study.
Drilling aims to increase confidence in the high-grade Paleochannel mineralisation and potentially demonstrate areas capable of supporting stand-alone mining operations. Previous drilling has shown high-grade gold intersections such as 5m @ 5.87 g/t Au and 1m @ 16.54 g/t Au. This program is expected to assist in providing more reliable data for future resource estimations.
The drilling follows a recent $4.1 million placement to Forrestania Resources, which strengthens OzAurum’s financial position to progress its gold production pathway.
