Ausgold Strengthens Growth Outlook at Katanning Gold Project
Ausgold Limited (ASX: AUC) reported strong drilling results from its Katanning Gold Project in Western Australia, reinforcing its resource growth and mine life extension potential. The campaign included 77 reverse circulation and diamond drill holes, delivering high-grade intercepts of up to 41.25g/t gold. These results highlight opportunities to upgrade resource quality and expand mineralisation, particularly within the Central Zone.
Drilling beneath current reserves and pit designs identified additional mineralised zones, indicating significant upside for reserve expansion. In-fill drilling also improved confidence in early-stage production areas, supporting better grade continuity and reliability in initial mine planning. Furthermore, extensional drilling confirmed mineralisation along the White Dam–Jackson trend, strengthening prospects for depth and strike growth.
With over 46,000 metres of drilling completed and further results pending, Ausgold continues to advance exploration across its extensive landholding. Ongoing and planned drilling programs are expected to enhance resource conversion, support new discoveries, and underpin long-term production growth at the project.
