eMetals Expands Gold-in-Soil Anomaly at Busia Gold Project, Uganda
eMetals Limited (ASX: EMT) has reported the successful completion of Phase 2 soil sampling at its Busia Gold Project in Uganda, expanding the previously identified gold-in-soil anomaly to approximately 300m x 700m. Gold values exceeding 50ppb were recorded within the newly defined anomaly area, significantly increasing the exploration footprint. In total, 482 soil samples and 13 rock-chip samples were collected during the campaign, which forms part of eMetals' strategy to identify potential gold mineralisation within the Busia-Kakamega Greenstone Belt. The results strengthen the project's prospectivity, with the anomaly showing good continuity along the strike. The project is situated in an area of significant historical gold production, further enhancing the potential for a meaningful discovery. Follow-up exploration, including trenching and further soil sampling, is planned for early 2026 to test for in-situ mineralisation.
