Desert Minerals Limited (ASX: DSM) has strengthened its financial position after successfully raising AU$1 million through a share placement to sophisticated and strategic investors. The funding was completed at AU$0.35 per share, representing a premium to the company’s most recent trading price, highlighting investor confidence in its growth strategy and project portfolio. The proceeds will be used to accelerate exploration activities at the Scotty Lithium Project in Nevada and support drill planning at the Monger Gold Project in Western Australia. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to evaluating potential growth opportunities and supporting general working capital requirements. Management noted that the capital raising was completed without broker fees, allowing the company to direct more funds toward project development. With exploration results expected from its lithium asset and drilling planned at its gold project, the company is entering a period of increased operational activity and potential news flow.
