Costa Group’s Managing Director and CEO Sean Hallahan steps down; Shares tumbled on ASX

Costa Group Holding Limited (ASX: CGC) announced that Sean Hallahan, CGC’s Managing Director and CEO will step down from today and support the transition plan to an interim CEO for a short handover period expected to complete in mid-October 2022.

The company has appointed Harry Debney as Interim CEO effective 26 September 2022. Harry was the Non-Executive Director of the company since July 2021. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Costa and led the Company through IPO in 2015. Harry has a close knowledge of the company and is regarded amongst Australia’s leaders in horticulture.

At AEST 10:29 AM, CGC shares are trading at AU$2.290, down 9.842% from the previous close.
