BWP Group Attracts Strong Institutional Backing in AU$228 Million Capital Raising Initiative
BWP Group (ASX: BWP) has completed the institutional tranche of its accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer, securing approximately AU$122 million in gross proceeds as part of a broader AU$228 million funding initiative. The offer, priced at AU$3.77 per new security under a 1-for-12 structure, received substantial institutional participation with an acceptance rate of about 98%, including full participation from Wesfarmers valued at roughly AU$53 million.
Additional demand emerged from both new and existing investors for securities not taken up during the institutional allocation process, highlighting continued market confidence in the trust’s portfolio and long-term strategy. Around 32 million new securities are expected to be issued under the institutional component, with trading scheduled to commence in mid-May. The retail entitlement offer is expected to contribute a further AU$106 million, reinforcing BWP’s capital position and providing additional flexibility to support future portfolio management and investment initiatives.
