Boab Metals Secures Long-Term Diesel Supply to Support Sorby Hills Development
Boab Metals Limited (ASX: BML) has reported the execution of a six-year diesel supply agreement for its Sorby Hills Silver-Lead-Zinc Project, marking a key step in advancing operational readiness ahead of production. The agreement with Cambridge Gulf provides a secure and reliable fuel supply covering construction, commissioning and ongoing operations, supporting the project’s pathway toward first concentrate production targeted in the second half of 2027.
The arrangement includes onsite fuel storage and delivery infrastructure, ensuring efficient logistics via Wyndham Port and direct site access. This development enhances cost predictability and strengthens supply chain resilience, reducing operational risks as the project transitions through development phases. The agreement aligns with Boab’s broader strategy to de-risk execution and maintains steady progress toward production, positioning Sorby Hills as a well-supported development project with clear visibility over critical operational inputs.
