Bank of Queensland starts executive search for a new Managing Director and CEO

The Board of Bank of Queensland Limited (ASX:BOQ) announced that it is starting a domestic and international executive search for a new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as its CEO George Frazis, is leaving the Bank.

During the period of the executive search, the Company’s Chairman Patrick Allaway has taken the role of Executive Chairman. Karen Penrose, who is the current Non-executive Director of BOQ will lead independent Director during this period.

The appointment of Mr Allaway as Executive Chairman is intended to retain stability and ensure that the executive leadership team are focused on their present roles & responsibilities.
