Altitude Minerals Moves Ahead with Byrock Copper-Gold Drilling Program
Altitude Minerals Ltd (ASX: ATT) has advanced exploration activities at its Byrock Project in New South Wales after obtaining the required drilling approvals and appointing a drilling contractor for the upcoming campaign. The company plans to undertake a 2,300-metre reverse circulation drilling program targeting three priority geophysical anomalies identified through earlier exploration studies.
The Byrock Project is positioned within the interpreted north-west extension of the Macquarie Arc, a highly prospective mineral region that hosts several major copper-gold operations in Australia. According to the company, the identified targets display geological characteristics comparable to pipe-shaped porphyry systems associated with well-known deposits in the region.
Site preparation work is expected to begin shortly, with drilling activities scheduled to start in mid-June 2026. The program will be conducted in partnership with Nimrod Resources and is aimed at uncovering concealed copper-gold mineralisation beneath shallow surface cover.
