Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has provided an update on the status of Jobs, People, Hours and Payments for September 2022 quarter.
In seasonally adjusted terms for the September quarter 2022:
1. Total jobs increased 0.3% to 15.4 million.
2. Filled jobs improved 0.2% to 14.9 million.
3. Secondary jobs reduced 0.2% to 997,200.
4. Proportion of vacant jobs grew to 3.2%.
5. Multiple job holders increased 0.4% to 895,900.
6. Hours worked remained at 5.6 billion hours.
