Victory Metals Partners with Curtin University to Accelerate North Stanmore Heavy Rare Earth Development
Victory Metals Limited (ASX: VTM) has entered into a strategic partnership with Curtin University to fast-track development of its North Stanmore Heavy Rare Earth and Strategic Defence Metals Project in Western Australia. The collaboration brings together Victory’s large clay-hosted heavy rare earth resource with Curtin’s expertise in metallurgy, hydrometallurgy, water management and sustainable processing, supported by the Australian Government-backed Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer initiative. Curtin specialists will work alongside Victory’s technical team to advance key technical studies required to move the project toward commercial production. As part of the partnership, the parties will co-develop a pilot plant at Victory’s Burswood facility to optimise processing and recovery pathways. North Stanmore, located near Cue, is Australia’s largest indicated clay-hosted heavy rare earth resource and is positioned to play a critical role in strengthening domestic supply chains for clean energy, advanced manufacturing and defence applications.
