Spenda Limited (ASX: SPX) has successfully secured commitments for a private placement, raising AU$1.4 million before costs. The placement saw strong backing from both new and existing sophisticated investors, as well as Spenda's Board of Directors. The funds raised will be mainly used to support the ongoing commercialization of the company's core products and to meet working capital requirements. The placement offered shares at an issue price of AU$0.002 per share.
Notably, Spenda's Directors and Executive team, including Karim Razak and Irshad Mulla, have pledged to invest AU$570,000 in total, pending shareholder approval. The joint lead managers for the placement, Lodge Corporate and Lynx Advisors, will be entitled to management fees and broker options. The shares will be issued under ASX Listing Rule 7.1 and 10.11, with shareholder approval expected by the end of April 2026.
