Somerset Minerals Ltd (ASX: SMM) has successfully raised AU$3.7 million, including a AU$2.5 million “flow-through” placement and AU$1.2 million from a traditional placement. The funds will support an extensive exploration program at its Coppermine Project in Canada, targeting high-grade copper mineralization at Jura North and across the broader 1,665 km² landholding. Exploration activities will focus on expanding strike and depth at Jura North, where recent drilling returned significant copper intercepts, including 42.7m at 2.69% Cu. Additionally, a regional program will test geochemical and geophysical anomalies. The company is confident in its ability to uncover several copper deposits within the next 12 to 18 months.
