Megado Minerals Limited Secures Five-Year Option Over High-Grade Alpartir Silver-Copper Project in Spain
Megado Minerals Limited (ASX: MEG) has secured a five-year exclusive option to acquire up to 80% of the Alpartir Silver–Copper–Antimony Project in Aragón, Spain, spanning 576 square kilometres across multiple granted and pending permits. Historical rock chip sampling undertaken by Asturiana de Zinc reported exceptionally high silver grades exceeding 1,000 grams per tonne and copper grades above 5%, underscoring the project’s strong high-grade profile.
The mineralisation is hosted within structurally controlled vein systems extending for more than 36 kilometres, with documented historical underground mining at several locations. Under the option agreement, the Company will pay an upfront option fee of AU$120,000, with exercise remaining at the sole discretion of the Board. Planned exploration activities include geological mapping, systematic sampling, airborne and ground geophysics, and maiden drill targeting to validate historical data and assess potential extensions at depth and along strike.
