Rohav Mountain Exploration Continues to Deliver Positive Gold Results
Unity Metals Limited (ASX: UM1) has reported further progress at its Rohav Mountain Prospect in Cambodia, with recent drilling and fieldwork reinforcing the potential for a growing gold system beneath shallow basalt cover. A newly identified gold-bearing interval has added to existing mineralised zones and supports the view that the prospect remains open for expansion.
Exploration activities indicate that gold mineralisation is concentrated around altered intrusive rocks and associated quartz-sulphide vein networks. Ongoing geological mapping has revealed additional zones of vein-hosted mineralisation, providing new areas for follow-up investigation. The company’s interpretation suggests that both the mineralised corridor and the host intrusion become larger toward the northeast, where they extend beneath untested cover.
To further refine exploration targets, geophysical programs are underway to map concealed structures and identify prospective drilling locations. Meanwhile, the completion of the maiden diamond drilling campaign across the broader Ngot Project has enhanced the geological understanding of the region and is expected to support the next phase of exploration and potential resource growth.
