Pure Foods Tasmania Limited (ASX: PFT) announced that it had successfully completed a placement to institutional and sophisticated investors to raise AU$2.55 million. The placement comprised the issue of approx. 15.45 million fully paid ordinary shares at an issue price of AU$0.165 per new share, and the issue price represents a 13.1% discount to the last closing price of AU$0.19 per share on Wednesday, 27th July 2022.
In addition to the placement, the company also announced an Entitlements Offer, in which Eligible Shareholders will be offered the opportunity to buy one new fully paid ordinary share for each three fully paid ordinary shares held in the company to potentially raise approx. AU$3.40 million. The Entitlement Offer will provide eligible shareholders resident in Australia and New Zealand with the opportunity to buy additional shares in proportion to their holdings at the Placement price of AU$0.165 per share.
