Charger Metals Offers Drilling Progress Update at Lake Johnston Lithium and Gold Project

Charger Metals Limited (ASX: CHR) has completed 3,054m of diamond and RC drilling this quarter at its 100%-owned Lake Johnston Lithium and Gold Project in Western Australia. Drilling includes extensions to the Medcalf Spodumene Deposit and exploration at the Xmas Gold Discovery. The Medcalf drilling program has focused on down-dip extensions to depths of 500m. Initial assay results are pending, with Medcalf’s resource expected to be updated soon.

At Xmas Gold Discovery, high-grade gold mineralisation was confirmed in earlier holes, with follow-up drilling ongoing. The project is located in one of the Yilgarn’s underexplored greenstone belts, a highly prospective area for lithium and gold. Charger has also completed soil sampling and flora surveys to enable further drilling and exploration in the coming months.
