PointsBet Holdings Limited (ASX: PBH) announced that it has secured an AU$94.16 million equity investment from SIG Sports Investment Corp, a member of the Susquehanna International Group of Companies.
As per the terms of this deal, PointsBet will issue 38,750,000 shares to SIG Sports at AU$2.43 per share. The new shares will be issued under PBH’s existing placement capacity. Upon issuance, this investment will represent 12.8% of PBH’s issued capital, and SIG Sports Investment Corp would be the largest shareholder of PointsBet.
Other than this, PointsBet Europe Holdings Limited has signed a deal with Nellie Analytics Limited, a member of Susquehanna International Group of Companies to scope and develop the terms for Nellie Analytics to deliver sports analytics as well as quantitative modelling services to complement PBH's present capabilities and fast-track the technology roadmap.
At AEST 10:43 AM, PBH shares are trading at AU$2.380, up 10.697% from its previous close.
