Pacgold Unveils Major Restructuring to Drive Future Growth
Pacgold Limited (ASX: PGO) has announced a significant corporate restructuring that will see its North Queensland exploration assets transferred into a new exploration-focused company, Manda Resources Ltd. The initiative is intended to accelerate exploration activities, attract dedicated funding, and unlock the value of projects that include Alice River and St George.
As part of the transaction, Manda will also acquire additional gold assets, creating a larger regional portfolio with considerable exploration potential. The combined asset base will provide a strong platform for resource growth and future discoveries across North Queensland.
Pacgold shareholders are expected to receive shares in Manda, allowing them to retain exposure to the exploration opportunities created by the new company. Following the demerger, Pacgold will concentrate on advancing its White Dam Gold Project in South Australia and strengthening its position as a gold producer. The transaction is expected to provide both companies with clearer strategic direction, enhanced funding opportunities, and a stronger pathway for long-term value creation.
