Oz Minerals announced result for its fourth quarter ended on 31 December 2022

Oz Minerals Limited (ASX: OZL) announced results for its fourth quarter ended on 31 December 2022:

During 4QFY22, the company reported a 21% increase in copper production compared to the previous quarter, indicating that it has achieved its group production and cost guidance.

• The company has entered into a Scheme Implementation Deed with BHP under which BHP would buy 100% of the shares in OZL by way of a scheme arrangement for a cash price of AU$28.25 per OZL share.
• Net revenue for the year was AU$1.9 billion, an 8% decline on the previous year mainly due to reduced sales volumes and weaker copper prices.
• In FY23, the company’s focus would be on the safe delivery of operational and growth plans, continuing exploration activities to form its organic growth pipeline, executing its decarbonisation roadmap, strengthening its culture, and moving towards realizing its strategic aspirations.
