Gravity-Only Metallurgy Delivers Breakthrough Antimony Recoveries at Los Lirios.
EV Resources (ASX: EVR) has reported highly encouraging preliminary metallurgical results from its Los Lirios Antimony Project in Oaxaca, Mexico, confirming the technical and economic viability of a simplified processing route. Test work achieved total antimony recoveries of 90.8% using a two-stage, reagent-free gravity circuit, materially outperforming a flotation-based flowsheet. The gravity process produced clean, saleable concentrates grading between 22% and 36% Sb from a composite head grade of 4.6% Sb, while delivering very low tailings grades of 0.37% Sb, highlighting strong processing efficiency and minimal metal loss. These outcomes support a lower-capex development strategy, reduced permitting complexity, and an accelerated pathway to restart operations via refurbishment of the Tecomatlán Plant. Separately, high-grade sulphide material returned exceptional flotation recoveries of 99.2% Sb, demonstrating significant upside potential for deeper sulphide mineralisation as drilling progresses.
