eMetals Secures Acquisition of Mineral Range Tungsten Project in Utah, USA

eMetals Limited (ASX: EMT) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Mineral Range Tungsten Project located in Beaver County, Utah, USA. The acquisition includes 25 mineral claims and 84 mineral claim applications, covering a total of 2,072 acres (~838 hectares) in the Mineral Range batholith. The project boasts an extensive history of successful tungsten mining and includes several past-producing mines such as the Garnet and Big Pass groups.

The geological model suggests significant potential for further exploration and resource growth, with scheelite-bearing skarn zones at the contact between granite and Paleozoic limestone. The acquisition aligns with eMetals' strategic focus on acquiring quality assets in stable mining jurisdictions. The deal will also enable the company to tap into U.S. federal funding and incentives available for critical minerals.
