Ema Project Strengthens Position as a Global Rare Earth Leader
Brazilian Critical Minerals Limited (ASX: BCM) has advanced its Ema Rare Earth Elements (REE) project in Brazil, establishing it as a Tier-1 ionic clay deposit and the only known ISR-ready rare earth project in the western world. The updated Mineral Resource Estimate stands at 1.07 billion tonnes at 732 ppm TREO, reflecting strong scale and growth. The indicated resource increased by 58% to 392 million tonnes, improving confidence and reducing development risk.
The project also reported higher grades of key magnet metals, with neodymium-praseodymium rising 5% to 184 ppm and dysprosium-terbium increasing 6%, strengthening exposure to high-value rare earths. Ema benefits from near-surface mineralisation suitable for low-cost in-situ recovery (ISR), supporting scalability and long-term production potential.
With the Bankable Feasibility Study approximately 80% complete and targeted for near-term delivery, Ema is progressing toward development and is positioned to become a strategic supplier in the global rare earth market.
