Core Lithium Secures AU$120 million Institutional Funding to Support Finniss Restart
Core Lithium Ltd (ASX: CXO) has successfully raised AU$120 million through a fully subscribed institutional placement, strengthening its financial position as it advances the restart of the Finniss Lithium Project.
The capital raise is being executed in two stages, with AU$53 million already completed and the remaining AU$67 million committed, subject to shareholder approval. The strong uptake from institutional investors reflects growing confidence in the company’s operational restart strategy and long-term asset potential.
The placement was priced at AU$0.21 per share, with demand indicating solid market support at this level. Importantly, this equity funding sits alongside the previously secured strategic investment of approximately US$120 million, creating a fully funded pathway for the project’s restart. With funding now in place, the company is positioned to begin early-stage activities, including site mobilisation and initial development works, in line with its execution timeline.
