Clime to Sell International Fund as Part of Strategic Refocus.
Clime Investment Management Limited (ASX: CIW) has entered into an agreement to divest its Clime International Retail Managed Investment Scheme to a new participant in the Australian funds management market. The transaction will deliver total cash proceeds of AU$2 million, payable in staged instalments, subject to trustee approval and certain retention conditions over a six-month period. Completion is targeted before 30 March 2026, pending standard conditions.
Following the sale, Clime will continue acting as Investment Manager, and the fund will retain its existing name until the acquirer formally launches operations in Australia. The purchaser, currently confidential pending required consents, manages global equity strategies that align with the fund’s mandate.
This divestment reflects Clime’s intention to streamline its structure and sharpen its focus on the wholesale segment. The deal enhances liquidity and introduces an additional strategic capability that may benefit wholesale clients through broader global investment expertise.
