Celsius Resources Provides Update on MMCI Shareholding Process
Celsius Resources Limited (ASX: CLA) has provided a corporate update regarding the potential relinquishment of its indirect 60% shareholding in Makilala Mining Company, Inc. (MMCI).
The company confirmed that Makilala Holding Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary, has issued a formal notice to Sodor Inc. concerning the contemplated transfer of its MMCI stake under the relevant governing agreements. Sodor has acknowledged receipt of the notice and expressed willingness to cooperate in facilitating a possible share transfer.
Both parties are currently coordinating on preliminary steps to ensure any future transaction complies with the regulatory and statutory requirements governing mining companies in the Philippines. At this stage, no transfer of shares has been completed. Celsius noted that further updates will be provided as the process progresses in accordance with its continuous disclosure obligations.
