American Rare Earths Advances Halleck Creek with Pilot Plant Pathway to Accelerate Pre-Production
American Rare Earths Limited (ASX: ARR) has reported the advancement of its pilot plant program for the Halleck Creek Project in Wyoming, outlining a structured pathway to accelerate pre-production rare earth oxide output. The Company has executed agreements with multiple processing partners to deliver a three-stage pilot program, with initial milling, sizing and mineral separation to be conducted in Wyoming, followed by downstream hydrometallurgical processing and oxide refining in Canada. This approach enables processing close to the ore source while leveraging established refining infrastructure to fast-track high-purity rare earth oxide production. The program will utilize stockpiled ore and incorporate advanced processing technologies to enhance mineral recovery and concentrate production. Data generated from the pilot campaign will support future commercial plant design and development decisions. The staged execution model is expected to reduce technical risk and significantly shorten timelines, positioning the project for accelerated development and supporting strategic engagement opportunities.
