Alma Metals Raises AU$4 Million for Briggs Copper Project Development
Alma Metals Limited (ASX: ALM) has secured AU$4 million through a heavily supported share placement, highlighting growing investor confidence in the company’s Briggs Copper Project in Queensland. The capital raise was completed at an issue price of AU$0.01 per share and received strong backing from institutional and sophisticated investors.
The newly raised funds will mainly be directed toward expanding the Briggs copper resource through additional drilling programs. The company also plans to use the capital for resource upgrades, metallurgical studies, and environmental assessment work as part of its ongoing pre-feasibility activities. Following the placement, Alma is expected to maintain a strong financial position with additional cash reserves and liquid investments available for project advancement.
The Briggs project is regarded as a large-scale copper asset with favourable infrastructure access near Gladstone. Alma continues to focus on advancing the project as demand for copper strengthens globally, supported by long-term growth in electrification and renewable energy industries.
