VGI Partners completed merger with Regal Funds Management Pty Limited

VGI Partners Limited (ASX: VGI) announced that it had completed the merger with Regal Funds Management Pty Limited in line with the terms of the Merger Implementation Deed dated 30 March 2022. The company has acquired 100% shares in Regal in consideration for the issue of 141,008,460 new fully paid ordinary shares in the Company to Regal shareholders. The company’s name has also been changed from “VGI Partners Limited” to “Regal Partners Limited”. Regal Partners Limited has requested the Australian Securities Exchange to change its ticker code from “VGI” to “RPL”.

The company has changed its Board of Directors and Company Secretary, as it has appointed Michael Cole, Sarah Dulhunty, and Ian Gibson as new directors. While Darren Steinberg and Benjamin Pronk have resigned as directors of Regal Partners, and Robert Luciano resigned as executive chairman and director. Still, he will continue to work as a chief investment officer for the VGI Partners investment team within the broader group.
