Star Entertainment Finalises US$390 Million Refinancing Deal with WhiteHawk
The Star Entertainment Group Limited (ASX: SGR) has entered into a binding refinancing commitment with WhiteHawk Capital Partners to restructure its debt and strengthen liquidity. The agreement involves a US$390 million (approximately AU$550 million) facility with a three-year tenure, aimed at refinancing existing debt and providing additional liquidity to support ongoing operations.
The facility includes interest linked to Term SOFR plus a margin, along with structured quarterly repayments starting March 2027. The arrangement also incorporates financial covenants such as minimum liquidity thresholds, asset coverage requirements, and EBITDA conditions. An interest reserve covering the first year has also been established. Completion of the refinancing remains subject to standard conditions, including regulatory approvals and final documentation, with the company targeting closure by 15 May 2026.
